Happy Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary to Ben and I. We have been married for eight years. It is so hard to believe that it has been that long. I love him more and more every day. He is the best hubby ever always willing to go to work to support our family and do what needs to be done. I love him for that. We have three beautiful children Addilee who is three, Patton who is one, and Aspen who is three months. I love being a mommy and love being married. Each day is a new adventure in our lives and I love every minute of it. Benjamin I love you so much you make everyday worth living. I am so glad that we get to be together forever. I LOVE YOU BABE you mean everything to me life wouldn't be the same without you.

SCHOOL BUS RIDE!

Addilee has been wanting to ride a school bus so bad every time she sees one she says to me mom look there is the school bus it is coming to pick me up for school. She doesn't go to school but is very excited to go next year. She is always saying mom looking at her wrist like she is wearing a watch I have thirty minutes to get to my school. Mom we have thirty minutes we are going to be late the bus is coming to pick me up. Well we pulled a few strings and made a couple of phone calls well not really me but one of my friends her dad drives the school bus for school activties and he had this last weekend over mothers day so they called and us and asked us if we were ready for Addilee to ride the school bus. I asked her if she wanted to go and of course she jumped for joy. I took her over to their house and we got on the bus and rode it out to cottonwood for gas. While we were getting gas the got to sit in the driver seat and pretend like she was driving she loved it. She got to push the button to open and shut the door and thought that was pretty cool. She liked that she could walk around on the bus while we were stopped. She walked back and forth from the front of the bus to the back. After we got gas we drove to the high school. While on our way to the school my parents live on the same road as the school so Dave stopped the bus in front of my parents house and let her open the door and honk the big horn. She thought that was the coolest thing ever. She was pretty disappointed when no one came outside from my parents house because they were gone. Then we finished riding the bus up to the school. Jeanie came and picked us up at the high school and we rode back to there house to get into our truck to come home. Addilee thought it was so cool and had to come home and tell her daddy all about her bus ride. Later that day we went over to my parents house and had to tell all about her bus ride also. They felt bad that they weren't home to see her on the bus but at least we got pictures. She had a blast.

YAY GRASS!!!

Addilee was throwing a baby around and around in circles.

The yard almost done

Ben and Jade working together.

The dogs running around Charlie and Pluto

We finally got our grass for the back/side yard. It is really the side of our house but we call it the back. It has been a long time coming, maybe it will cut down on all the dirt in the house. I went to Cedar on Friday to pick up the grass and when Ben got home from work that night we starting laying it down. We had Ben's nephew Jade help us out and he earned every penny he got paid. Ben told him if he wanted to come help and worked hard he would pay him 10 dollars. Of course almost every kid is willing to help if money is involved. Jade worked hard and did a really good job. My parents came when we were almost finished so my dad helped with the rest of what needed to be done. Thank you Jade, Mom and Dad for all your help we appreciate it. Patton and Addilee loved every minute of everything they wouldn't leave the yard and wanted to play on it all night. It was almost like they had never seen or played on grass before. You would have thought anyways. It was lots of fun and lots of hard work but we got it done and it was well worth all the work. Now we are going to install a cement wall all across the back of our yard. It will be so good to have a fenced in yard so the kids can just play and play. I can't wait till it is all done the finished project will be wonderful.

About our dogs we have had Charlie for 7 years and he is a golden retriever and is the best dog ever. He is getting old so we decided to get a new puppy for the kids which is a boxer/lab mix. He is so cute and lazy Addilee decided that she wanted to name him Pluto so we said it was okay. Not long after we got him we were playing outside with him and she said to me mommy when are we going to paint Pluto yellow? I starting laughing and told her that he was black and that you can't paint dogs. I think it kind of broke her heart so now she always is asking my dad when is he going to bring the paint over so she can paint Pluto yellow.

Singing on the mountain

Well this last weekend we went to Arizona to my grandpa and grandma's property. They have this big baptist get together called singing on the mountain. They have people travel from all over to come and play music and sing gospel songs. It is pretty fun and very interesting sometimes. We go to help cook the food for all the people. They have been doing it for ten years now and I think on average they have about 200-300 people show up for the day. It is good to go because we get to see the family. We don't get to see them that often only a couple of times a year. This was the first time my mom's family got to see Aspen and they loved her so much. I forgot to take my camera this year so sorry no pictures. The kids had lot of fun playing in the dirt. They all looked liked pigpen from the peanuts comic. It was lots of fun.
