Yay Addilee!

We went to visit some friends while they were camping at Quail Lake and we took the boat of course. Anyway we went out on the boat with our friends and there daughter wanted to ride the tube and Addilee rode it with her. That is a first for AJ she usually rides it with Ben but she has never really rode it by herself and she did. Well she rode it with Brooklyn and had lots of fun. So YAY for Addilee!!!

Big boy Patton....

Well Patton can now ride a bike with training wheels. My dad and brother found a little bike in the dumpster. They brought it home and gave it to us for Patton. When Ben got home he put the training wheels on it and he just took off. It won't be long before he can ride a bike with no training wheels. He is getting so big and way to fast! He is just so proud of himself now that he can ride a bike like his sister. He loves it!

Splash Pad!

We went to St. George one day and took the kids to the splash pad well one of them anyway. They loved it and had so much fun! The weather was nice and hot so the water felt good and the kids played well in it. Aspen was more interested in drinking Meagan's soda then playing in the water. Sorry Meagan. We owe you one! I think it will have to be something we do again for sure.

NEW TOY!!!

The new boat!
It isn't new at all it is a 1996 Mariah Shabah but it has been very well taken care of all of it's life. And we like it so that is all that matters.

The old boat a 1987 Ebbtide

The inside of the new boat can't really tell that well because I didn't want to take the cover all the way off.

Well Ben finally found himself a new boat to buy after we sold our old one. He wanted something a little bigger then what we had before for the kids to have a little more room. He has been looking since before he sold his boat and he finally found one. I think he wishes that it had all the stuff for fishing like a trolling motor and fish finder but it can be added little by little. I am just glad we can stop looking! Now we will just have to add all the extras that he wants. Because those of you who don't know when Ben wants something he gets it. I am pretty excited about it also it has been fun so far the few times we have taken it out on the water. It has quite a bit more seating and more storage and room. All the seats are in great condition no rips or tears in the vinyl and the carpet is also in good condition. You can tell that the owners before hardly used it at all. We like it and i guess that is all that matters anyway. The kids like it too and can't wait for the water to warm up a little so we can go play more.

Welcome to the family.......

We are guinea pig sitting for the summer. Ben's sister Jamie went up to Alaska for the summer so we are watching there pet guinea pig till they get back in August. His name is Poe and the kids absolutely adore him. They are constantly wanting to play with him all day long. He is probably wishing he didn't have to come to our house. He will surely feel loved while he is at our house.

Memorial Day Weekend

Showing me there bow and arrows in the snow. That was left after the storm.

Aspen wanted in the picture. But she wouldn't look at me for nothing.

The Bow and Arrow Ben made out of willows.

We went camping for Memorial Day weekend. We went up to the Enterprise Reservoir. We had Ben and I and the kids, My mom and dad, My brother Reece and his wife Meagan and there kids, and Ben's brother D.J. and his five boys. We had lots of fun and enjoyed ourselves. I love spending time with family when we can all get along and we did that weekend. It snowed on us on Sunday for about 4 hours straight. It didn't really stick to the ground because the ground was warm but it made for a cold day.
We ate yummy food played horse shoes and sat around the camp fire and talked. Ben made a bow and arrow out of willows for Addilee, Patton, and Parker. They loved them and had fun trying to learn how to shoot them. The kids all played really well together and didn't want to come home.
